The beach
Platja d'es Tancats is a beautiful white sand beach. It is accessed by following the signs for Platges d'Algaiarens, passing through forests of white pine and oaks. There are two parking lots at the end of the road.
Notes
Pretty beach and, together with Platja d'es Bot, they are called Playas de Algaiarens. It is located in La Vall, a protected area and one of the best preserved in Menorca. How to get there
- 1From Ciutadella
Go in the direction of Cala Morell. At the last roundabouts before leaving Ciutadella we can already see some informational sign about the car park. We will see the parking lot as the Valley. We will find the beach by following the directions to Algaiarens, which is the name of the bay, the two beaches of Es Tancats and Es Bot.
- 2Continue towards Algaiarens
We will always follow the directions to the beaches of Algaiarens. They will take us to the parking lot just 5 minutes from the sand.
