The beach
Cala Fontanelles is a narrow cove of rocks and small pebbles located west of La Vall. It is a sheltered area so it is a propitious place for anchoring vessels.
Notes
Unfrequented cove 20 minutes walking from Playa d'es Tancats. It is Natural Area of Special Inteest, very nice place with old fishermen's huts.

How to get there
- 1From Ciutadella towards Algaiarens
Go in the direction of Cala Morell. At the last roundabouts before leaving Ciutadella we can already see some informational sign about the car park. We head towards the Algaiarens beach car park; We will see the parking lot as the Valley.
- 2Go to the La Vall car park
We will always follow the directions to the beaches of Algaiarens. We park in the Vall car park and once we reach the beaches of Algaiarens we continue along the coast to our left. It is approximately a 25 minute walk.
