Disfruta la playa

Cookie policy

Last updated: 9 October 2026

A cookie is a small file the browser stores on your device when you visit a website. It remembers a visit or a choice. This site also uses the browser's local storage, which does a similar job.

You can choose here. If you press one, the notice below closes too.

Who is responsible for this site

The site is Disfruta la playa, at disfrutalaplaya.es. If you want to ask about this notice, write to us from Contact us.

What is stored

We do not use advertising cookies or social-network cookies. The Facebook, Twitter and YouTube buttons in the footer only open those pages; they do not leave cookies on this site. Only the following is stored here.

Visit measurement

Google Analytics, from Google LLC, counts page views to see which beaches people look at. It does not store your name. The cookies are written by the domain disfrutalaplaya.es when Google's measurement program loads.

On the home page and the island pages, that measurement only starts if you press Agree. If you press Not now, or if you leave the page without choosing, it does not load. On older beach pages the same meter may start when the page opens.

More detail is in the Google Analytics cookie information and in Google's privacy policy.

Remembering your choice

In local storage, the key dlp-cookies stores whether you pressed Agree or Not now. This site sets it, not Google. It stays until you delete it. It does not say who you are. It is there so we do not ask again on every page, and so we can follow what you chose.

Why we can do this

Measurement relies on your consent, under Article 6.1.a of the General Data Protection Regulation and Article 22.2 of the Spanish Information Society Services Act. Remembering that answer is necessary in order to apply your choice.

How to decide

Above you have Agree and Not now. The notice below has the same buttons. If you press one, both close.

How to change your mind

Press Clear my choice. The notice will come back and, until you press Agree, measurement will not load again on the home page or the island pages. Cookies already stored stay in the browser until you delete them there:
