Ses Salines
Ses Salines is a Majorcan municipality bordering on Campos and Santanyí. Both the coastal nucleus of Colonia de Sant Jordi and the numerous salt mines that give name to the municipality are noteworthy. The salt mines are one of the most extensive protected areas in Majorca thanks to the ecological rules of the place, they are the oldest in the Balearic Islands, the second oldest worlwide and they still provide salt.
