Palma

Palma is a municipality, a town, both the capital city of the island of Majorca and the autonomous region of the Balearic Islands, bordering by the coast on Calvià and Llucmajor. Palma has got 421,900 inhabitants registered on a surface of 208 km2. Palma is a city that offers the visitor many possibilties as visiting emblematic and historical buildings, museums, sports, beaches, retaurants and nightlife. The beaches in Palma are varied, from the mythical 'Platja de Palma' which is a sandy area of several kilometres long, going through rock areas to small sand and rock coves.
