How to arrive at Cala Pregondó
How to arrive at Cala Pregondó
From Es Mercadal
It is preferable to access El Mercadal from the easternmost roundabout, from the first we find from Mahón, as at these roundabouts we will see signs to the 'playas' (beaches). Just surround Es Mercadal on the East side, by the roundabouts, until you reach Camí de Tramontana.
Camí de Tramontana
We will continue along the paved road; at the junctions we will see the signs to the different northern beaches. In our case, we will continue to Binimel.la.
Detour to Pregonda o Binimel.la
We will get to a detour, a very wide and gravel road with signs indicating " Pregonda y Platja de Binimel.la". After 1,5 km we will reach the restaurant near Binimel.la where there is space for half a hundred cars on the road verges.
Camí de Cavalls
Once the car is parked we have to head to Binimel.la Beach and continue to the left. Go past Cales Morts, and after 20 minutes walking from the parking we will reach Cala Pregondó, also called s'Alairó.
