How to arrive at Cala Pilar
From Ciudadela
Leave Ciudadela towards Mahón by the Me-1. Continue about 8 km along the road until you see Camí del Pilar signposted.
Camí del Pilar
We will see the sign to Camí del Pilar in both ways. This detour will take us after 5 km to the north of the island up to a clearing used as a parking.
Path
We will continue north along a path under a shaded forest. The path is simple though we will be going up a slope. At its top there is a shaded picnic area overlooking Cala Pilar.
Camí de Cavalls
When passing the picnic area and seeing the sea, we will continue along Camí de Cavalls to our right. We just have to down the slope until we reach some wooden stairs to access the cove.
Another access from Els Alocs
It can also be accessed leaving the car at the parking in Els Alocs and continue to the left along Camí de Cavalls.
