LA PLAYA
Platja s'Hort de sa cova is a pebble beach in the village of Valldemosa close to the famous Port d'es Canonge. It is an area with gravel and Posidonia in the beach. On the southwest side of the beach flows a stream about 2 meters above sea level, so depending on the month of the year we can see a small waterfall.
OBSERVACIONES

How to arrive at Platja de s´Hort de sa cova
How to arrive at Platja de s´Hort de sa cova
From Palma
Exit from Palma by Valldemossa road until he detour to Esporlas. Continue the main street to leave town and follow the road without turning off.
Detour Port d'es Canonge
Since the departure of Esporlas crossing about 4 km until the detour to Port d'es Canonge. The road that arrives to the Port is very narrow in some sections, we recommend going quite slowly because two cars on a stretch don't fit.
Detour
Once we started to cross the road towards the Port d'es Canonge we should take a detour to our right that we will see in about 2 km. It is the first dirty road from the turnoff. We will see this detour just t in front of us; this road has a sign indicating Port d'es Canonge indicating to the paved road.
Car park
At the entrance of the dirty road there is space for about 4 cars, but following the path down the slope we can find several more spaces for 2 or 3 more cars. The road is gravel and narrow, the vehicle's wheels can slip, so we recommend parking at the entrance of the road.
Path to the beach 3 km
We have just to follow the main road 3 km. Deviations are closed and there is no loss. We will arrive to a crossroads where there are several signs. We must follow the second of our right: The first is a quarry and is forbidden to pass. Little further there is a sign indicating "beach" and must take a little detour, but it is simple and there is no loss.
