LA PLAYA
Cala Figuera is a cove of sand and gravel near an abandoned military zone. The access is good from Portals Vells road. You can see many rocks excavated that have given a special character to the landscape. You can see many cyclists in the area.
OBSERVACIONES
Hiking along cliffs reaching abandoned military zone. Wear good athletic shoes to go to the cove between the rocks, it is dangerous, do not bring children. 30 minutes walking from the parking we have indicated.

How to arrive at Cala Figuera
Palma-Andratx motorway
Leave Palma driving along the Palma-Andratx motorway, Ma 1. On the motorway turn off at exit number 14, towards Magaluf. Continue straight ahead until the second roundabout (called roundabout eight) and here continue towards El Toro or Son Ferrer.
Crossing
From this point we will move one kilometre forward and we will see that the road widens to give way to a lane in the middle. We will get in this lane to stop at the Stop sign and then go straight on by another road to Portals Vells/Playa delMago.
Follow the sign to Portals Vells
Follow signs to Portals Vells. We will pass along a road with a barrier stating "Access Denied", but the next road on our right the must follow, there are approximately 800 meters from the road with barrier until the roead we must follow.
Esplanade road straight up
Follow this road without turning, we will not take any other diversion (there is one right and two more to our left, but we straight up the esplanade). Park.
Path
We started the trail along the coast, from this point to the rocks near the military area is 30 minutes without stopping and with good pace. Beware of cliffs. First we will get to a small sea inlet that should be circumvented and is indicated by heaps of stones and blue circles painted on rocks.
Cala Figuera
When you get to the next sea inlet, you will see in the other side an abandoned military base. We must retrace our steps a few meters until you see a path on your right according to the cove. Care in this area, is difficult to see the path until you get closer. There are cliffs, but access is marked with blue paint, spend even a small cave.
Zone rocks
From the southern end of the cove there is a path that goes to the military base. Coming to a road and the more adventurers dare to enter. There is an open passage to the left, just after entering the forbidden zone. They reach the second military building and to the left, on the cliff, there is a rock staircase that reaches the sea level where they jump into the water.
