LA PLAYA
Coll Baix is a cove of stones located 8 km away from Alcúdia. From the parking there is a simple path that gets a bit complicated in the last stretch along the coast.
OBSERVACIONES
You can access it very near by car through a stony path and there is also a route for hikers that is a bit longer.

How to arrive at Coll Baix
How to arrive at Coll Baix
Palma-Alcúdia highway
Head for Alcúdia from the Ma 13 highway. It will come a moment when it will become a two-way road.
Roundabouts
We will get to a first roundabout and continue straight ahead. At the second one, we will continue to the right along the Ma 3460, the road to Port d'Alcúdia. At the third roundabout we will see the statue of an orange horse and will continue straight on towards Alcanada.
The last roundabout
At the fourth roundabout we will continue towards 'Alcúdia Centre' (the centre of Alcúdia). Once on this road we will find a junction turning on the right onto Eclipsi street.
Camí de s'Alou (S'Alou road)
We will get to the end of the street, on our right we will have a parking (here hikers park). Just opposite we will find a sign with the name of the way that we have to take, Camí de s'Alou (s'Alou road)
Park in a piece of open ground
We will follow this road ( it is quite bumpy) until we get to an open ground where we will be able to park the vehicle. At this point there is a chain that prevents entering by car.
Path
From now on we will continue on foot. We will make a small ascent and find Refugio del Coll Baix (El Coll Baix lodge). From here we will continue along a path which becomes difficult at its final stretch.
